In July 2018, A W Edwards became part of Bouygues Bâtiment International (BBI), a subsidiary of Bouygues Construction.

Prior to the acquisition A W Edwards was owned and continuously operated by the Edwards family since 1921. The fourth generation of the Edwards family remain in the business.

The A W Edwards name and brand will be maintained and continue to focus on projects in New South Wales for an array of public, private and government clients.
