First breakthrough on M4-M5 Link Tunnels

A major milestone was reached on the M4-M5 Link Tunnels project with roadheaders carving through to the M8, linking two WestConnex stages underground for the first time. The tunnel breakthrough is the first of six for the year and tunnelling for the M4-M5 Link Tunnels is on track to be completed this year.
