With over 400 km of tunnels completed in the past 40 years, including iconic projects such as the Channel Tunnel, the Port of Miami tunnel and the Sydney Airport Link, Bouygues is recognised worldwide as a leader in tunnelling.

In China, the Group recently constructed the world’s widest tunnels (15.43 m), breaking its own world record for tunnel width, set in 2005 in the Netherlands (a tunnel on the Brussels to Rotterdam and Amsterdam rail link).

Our equipment department with over 250 staff specializes in heavy lifting, design and manufacture of special formworks, erection and maintenance of TBMs and launching girders, and engineering of special equipment.
