Philippe Bouquet, Managing Director

Philippe has more than 30 years experience in the construction industry, of which 25 have been in senior positions within the Bouygues Construction group of companies. Philippe has proven expertise constructing high-profile projects that require specialised skills, sensitivity to unique program requirements, and knowledge in all aspects of the construction process. Since joining our Australian team in 2011, Philippe drives Bouygues Construction Australia’s strategy for growth in the market. He is a “hands on” director who prides himself on being readily accessible for each and every project.

Seved Robin, Deputy Managing Director

Seved has more than 20 years of international experience working on major civil construction and engineering projects covering tunnels, bridges, marine works, airports and roads.  His business acumen and understanding of the company has been established through working with the Bouygues Construction Group for more than 17 years. Seved has recently re-located from Hong Kong where he worked as Project Director on major projects including the MTR West Island Line 703 and Tuen Mun-Chek Lap Kok Link – Northern Connection Sub-sea Tunnel Section.

Ian Gunter, Business Development Director

Ian joined Bouygues in 1995 to establish Bouygues Construction UK’ presence, subsequently moving to Australia in 2011 to develop Bouygues Construction Australia’s activities. He brings more than 30 years experience of the construction industry, working in senior roles within business development, stakeholder management, and public relations.

 

Michel WEICK croppedMichel Weick, Chief Operating Officer

Michel has 30 years experience in design and design management, 7 years of which was spent managing both the R&D department and technical design department of Bouygues Construction. His particular strengths lie in his ability to implement efficient design frameworks, propose appropriate engineering solutions and detect risk at early stage. In addition to supervising the detailed construction design, he is responsible for the engineering methodology on our major Australian projects as well as coordinating subcontractors and managing technical issues.

Jean-Etienne Roeting, Chief Financial Officer

An experienced Finance Director, Jean-Etienne has over 30 years of experience in the field of financial control and contract management with the Bouygues Construction Group. Having worked in France on site and in Head office  in charge of international projects, Mozambique and South Africa, Croatia and then again in South Africa for the last 9 years mainly on the Gautrain Rapid Rail Link project; Jean-Etienne joined Bouygues Construction Australia in January 2015 as Chief Financial and Administrative Officer.

Ritchie Green, QSE Director

Ritchie’s diverse knowledge of Work Health Safety legal requirements, construction methodology, and high risk plant enables him to provide operational support across the industry sectors in which the company operates namely Civil Engineering, Building, Mining and Services. Ritchie previously held the position of Principal Inspector and Prosecutor with The WorkCover Authority of NSW, undertaking investigations and subsequent prosecutions in the NSW Industrial Relations Commission which have set precedent in WHS Law.

 

Brett Babicci, Head of Human Resources

Brett is responsible for all HR and Talent Management. With 20 years’ experience across different industries, Brett is an accomplished, commercially-focused HR leader with a broad generalist background. Having held senior managerial positions within diverse global corporations, Brett has a proven track record in achieving business outcomes through the development and implementation of proactive HR practices. His role focuses on Health, Safety and Wellbeing, HR Systems, Organisational Development, Recruitment, Remuneration and Rewards, Talent and Workplace Relations.

 

Jonathan Harrison, General Counsel

Jonathan has worked in the construction industry for more than 20 years, predominately in Australia, New Zealand and Asia, initially as a private practitioner and more recently as a general counsel for major contractors. Since joining Bouygues Construction Australia in 2015, Jonathan has been involved in a diverse range of projects, including major bids and delivery of projects including Bouygues Construction Australia’s entry into the solar market.
